Writing for wonder…

January 24, 2012

I believe in the other inalienable right…the right to wonder.

I feel wonder is an undiscovered right,
an unknown right.

By reading  children realize this right,
and learn by it.

We must teach our children to think, to imagine, to wonder…it is critical to their growth, to their learning, to their freedom.

I want to help them wonder. That’s why I write.

Welcome to my writing blog. I’m working on a number of adventures, from picture books to chapter books, and hope to share my passion for children’s wonder with you through this blog.
Follow me here, as I try to share the amazement I share with children who read, who discover, who learn through what we all write and read.
